If you have a lot of jewelry (even if you’re like me and lot of its costume jewelry) you’ve dealt with trying to keep it organized. I wanted something that was pretty, usable, and not on my dresser. First off it has a full-length mirror. Which I love because in my house the only full-length mirror is in the living room. It’s not one of those mirrors that gives you what they call the “fun house effect” because it’s actual real glass.

 

Wall or door mounted

 

You can either mount it to the wall or hang it over a door (they send you the door hanger with it). If you are renting this is great because most leases don’t want you to attach anything to the walls.

 

If you have a kid in college it would be perfect for the dorm because of the door mount.

 

Lockable

 

This is huge for me because I don’t want my kids playing in it. It comes with two keys which are great because I was able to give my husband one for when I lose mine.  

 

As I said a lot of my jewelry is costume jewelry, so I’m not so worried about it being stolen as I am one of the three little ones over here getting into it.

 

STURDY FRAME

 

It doesn’t look cheap or flimsy. It actually looks beautiful hung on the door and the material used doesn’t feel cheap either.

Lights

 

It has lights! It has 6 auto power on and off lights. When you open the cabinet they turn on and when you close it they go off. It’s run by three AAA’s. If you don’t want the lights though there is a switch at the very top that will turn them off.

 

Shipping

 

When I read some of the concerns as far as shipping goes I was a little nervous, but I received my packaged very safely. Honestly, I don’t think there is much more they could put in there to protect it.

LARGE STORAGE CAPACITY

 

It can hold a lot of stuff.  I don’t think I will ever be able to fill the whole thing up. They honestly thought of everything.

• 2 bottom drawers for the small accessories

Final thoughts about  the SONGMICS LED Jewelry Cabinet

The only negative I could think of is it is a bit heavy around 23 pounds, but honestly, when you look at just how much stuff it holds I wouldn’t complain about the weight.

 

For me, it was a total 5 stars. It has the space to hold everything I need it to, It has a lock to keep kids out, and it doesn’t take valuable space up. Plus it does something I wasn’t even looking for and gives me a full-length mirror in my room.
